Portfolio of professional work
I’ve spent most of my career serving as a one-person, in-house advertising and communications department. I write things, design things, implement things, and measure the impact of things. I grew up in my family’s printing company and have “ink in my blood,” as they say. The world has gone digital and I have too, but I haven’t lost my skills in and love for print media.

Global Gold was able to maximize the reach of product promotions by pairing email messaging with traditional postcards, mailed concurrently to provide sales representatives with maximum support when reaching out to their clients.
I was able to boost email open rates for Global Gold by over 100% by personalizing messages to include not only the client’s name, but also the name, signature and return email address of their account representative. Sustained enhancement of open rates was achieved by balancing personalized messages with non-personalized ones.

Some music friends asked if they could use one of my photographs for the cover of their upcoming album/CD. That evolved into me taking on the design, as well. In a little over a week I'd scouted and shot a rural Texas road to fit the theme, worked in another photo I’d shot, and had artwork ready to go.
Identity design is not a primary focus for me but has proven itself a valuable component in my skillset.
